Tickets

We appreciate that not every employer will cover the cost to attend Commsverse. In light of significant cost of living increases being felt across the UK and Europe, we are now offering single day tickets.

The majority of the ‘Commsverse experience’ is held on the first day of the event. Day 2 tends to be a 3/4 day session orientated event. Therefore, may appeal to those who just want the content.

Wyatt! Mark is Climbing a Mountain!

Raising £5,000 from ticket purchases for Give a Duck and Ronald McDonald House Charities on behalf of Wyatt if Mark reaches the summit!

This is Wyatt, he is 4 years old and suffers from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. He is also Mark’s best friend’s son.

2 weeks after Commsverse 2022, Sam and Rhiannon (Wyatt’s parents) noticed bruising around his neck combined with high temperature that they couldn’t control. The GP thought it was sepsis and rushed a blood test. The test revealed that Wyatt had Leukaemia. Overnight, their lives changed.

Over the past 6 months, Wyatt has been battling with infections alongside receiving chemotherapy treatment to combat this disease. His parents, having to care for their 4 other children, continue to work where they can and travel to hospitals 30-40 miles away so that Wyatt could receive the treatment he needs are exhausted.

Wyatt needed help to understand what was happening to him, so Sam turned to the Give a Duck foundation that provides huggable ducks with ports and tubes that mirror what was going to happen to Wyatt in the course of his treatment as well as specialists to help explain this in a non-scary way that children can understand.

To help the family with the turmoil and having to stay away whilst Wyatt was receiving treatment which was weeks at a time, the Ronald McDonald House charity provided free accommodation and internet access so that Sam and Rhiannon could stay close to Wyatt and still find time to work.

Things are getting better for Wyatt now, slowly. He is responding to treatment but there is still such a long way to go in his recovery. Without these charities Wyatt’s and his family’s lives would have been so much harder.

Mark's 25kg Climbing Snowdon Challenge

On May 13th 2023, I will be climbing Mt Snowdon, the highest mountain in my home country, Wales. At just over 3,500ft (1,085m), it is not a particularly high mountain compared to others, but this is not just a simple walking challenge.

This is a personal challenge and goal for me and I wanted to do some good for others as part of it and to also give me the motivation and encouragement to complete it.

I have always struggled with my weight. At my heaviest in 2021, the scales weighed in at just under 27 stone (171kg or 378lbs). Climbing the stairs at home (13 steps) was enough to put me out of breath, sweating and gasping for air. I was in a terrible position and facing undoubtedly an early death. I was disinterested in life and family. I would rather do nothing than something because of the physical effort required and this impacted my family too, especially my kids.

I decided I need to do something and since then I have lost 8.5 stone (53kg or 119lbs).

In recognition to this loss and to remind myself never, ever to let myself get into that situation again, I am going to climb Mt Snowdon the day after my 40th birthday carrying 25kg of weight in a rucksack  on my back.

Climbing the mountain represents the battle both myself and Wyatt face and I want to ensure that some good will come from completing the challenge.

With the current cost of living crisis, it feels wrong to ask people already squeezed with rising costs of everything for money they cannot afford to donate to charity. Therefore, to raise money for Wyatt, I am going to donate £2.50 from every ticket sold for Commsverse to the Give a Duck Foundation and Ronald McDonald House Charity. If I complete the challenge, I will double the donation.

My goal is to raise £5,000 in total and split this 50-50 between the charities that have helped Wyatt and his family. To do this, I need to sell 500 tickets to Commsverse. Each charity will receive £2.50 immediately on ticket purchase and then another £2.50 on completion of my challenge.

If you would like to just donate rather than buy a ticket to Commsverse, you can do via the link below. We would greatly appreciate the support. Thank you.

Commsverse is run with a not for profit ethos. All ticket purchases directly contribute to event costs. The price of the ticket covers your daily delegate rate at the venue which provides food and drink whilst your at the event.

Registration FAQs

To help ensure you have the best experience possible at Commsverse, please read the answers to the most frequently asked questions below

No. In previous years we have attempted virtual and hybrid events as a way to provide access to content to those who cannot make it in-person. Due to the demands of the physical event and the available resources to us at the time it is impossible to offer this with any degree of professionalism or consistency. Until such time as we are able to confidently support hybrid events, all our events will be in-person only.

The recording of sessions are done on a best endeavours basis. All recordings of sessions will be available for Free on our Youtube Channel https://youtube.com/commsverse in the days after the event.

Quite simply, Day 1 includes more benefits to attendees than Day 2. Day 1 attendees will get access to the Keynote with the opportunity to win a substantial prize (last year it was a Surface Laptop). The day is longer (finishes at 6:30pm vs 3:00pm)  and therefore contains more food and drink servings as well as an attendee social party with bowl food and free drinks bar.

Yes, you can swap your day pass to an alternative day if your plans change. If you have purchased a Day 1 ticket and wish to swap to Day 2 you will receive a refund on the difference between the cost of the tickets. If you have purchased a Day 2 ticket and wish to swap to Day 1, you will be required to pay the difference between the tickets.

We will provide refunds to people that cannot attend who request them 45 days or more prior to the date of the event.

Refunds after this deadline will not be permitted. It is not that we don’t want to, its because we cannot. The money from your ticket is used to purchase the food and drinks which has to be committed to our supplier in advance of the event. In other words, we still have to pay for your meals and drinks even if you do not attend.

You can however, donate or resell your ticket to a friend or colleague. To do this, please contact us.

Exhibitors pay to have access to potential new customers. It should be of no surprise to anyone who attends that in doing so you will be contacted by Exhibitors.

All exhibitors will receive basic profile information, name, email address, job title and company name of attendees who attended post event. The data sharing agreement between all three parties (You, Commsverse and the Exhibitor) are detailed in our Privacy Policy.

In summary, all attendees agree to receive one email or phone call from each exhibitor post event. The Exhibitor agrees to adhere to this agreement and offer the attendee a double opt-in to further communication.

We also provide exhibitors with the ability to scan badges and generate warmer leads. These come from direct conversations with you. If you agree to let them scan your badge, you are consenting to that exhibitors standard data privacy and usage terms.
