Arrival Information

The doors will open to attendees at 7am on both days. Sessions will start promptly at 9am.

There is only one entrance to the venue, located towards the rear of the building.

When you enter, please make your way up the escalator to registration.

On the 29th April there will be over 350 people arriving between 7 and 9am. To avoid missing the keynote we advise you to arrive no later than 8:30am.


Your Organisers and contacts at the event will be wearing navy blue t-shirts with the word “Organiser” on the back and right sleeve. If you have any questions or need assistance, please make yourself known to them.

Travelling to Mercedes-Benz World

Mercedes-Benz World has easy access off the M25 just south of Heathrow. The post code will take your right to the door.

If you are travelling by car, there is an additional parking area off the 1st exit on the roundabout in front of the venue. Please follow the sign for Brooklands museum. The additional parking area is on the left and the turning is opposite the main entrance. There is space to accommodate 400 cars.

Please note that the M25 is very busy between 7am and 9am, so please allow for delays on your journey.

Travelling by Air

If you are travelling by air, the venue is closer to Heathrow Airport than Gatwick. From the airport you can take an Uber directly to the venue which is about 25 minutes (without traffic) and will cost about £35.

Using the Public Bus service from Heathrow, you must have contactless payment. Cash is not accepted. We advise that if you’re not used to catching a Bus in the UK, to take an Uber or Black Cab. The bus route from Heathrow will take approx 1 hour 40 minutes of riding time + waiting.

The route is as follows:

  • Number 8 Bus to Staines South Street (16 minutes)
  • Number 456 to Addlestone Tesco (31 minutes)
  • Number 461 to Weybridge Library (12 minutes)
  • Number 436 to Mercedes-Benz World (11 minutes)

Travelling by Rail

If you are travelling by rail, Weybridge Rail Station is the nearest station to the venue.

Weybridge Rail Station is accessible on South Western Railway Trains from London Waterloo

The latest direct train from Waterloo to make the venue in time for 9am is the 08:12.

The railway station is approximately 1 mile from the venue and you have the following transport options:

  • Take a taxi from the taxi rank outside the station approx £10
  • Take an Uber approx £8
  • Number 436 bus to the venue – latest bus to make 9am is the 8:42am, but we recommend the latest bus is 7:27am on the 1st day to account for registration – approx £3


Staying Close To Mercedes-Benz World

There is a a hotel next door to the venue called The Brooklands Hotel. Tel: 01932 335700 for bookings. Please make your bookings in advance, directly with the hotel. The hotel is not associated to the venue.

The alternative hotel for the event is The Hilton, Cobham, which is less than 5 minutes away.

Transport to and from the venue to the Hilton, Cobham, we encourage any attendee driving to ride share with attendees who have travelled on public transport or by air. An Uber from the hotel to the venue is about £4

Other hotels are available around the area with easy access.

Your Conduct Commitment

Dress Code

The dress code for the event is casual. Please do not wear offensive logo’d attire or revealing clothes.

Respect the Venue & Public

Please note that the venue will remain open to the public during the event. There may be young children present in the venue so please ensure that you refrain from swearing or behaving in a manner that is not appropriate. When taking pictures, please ensure that you do not capture any photographs with children in them.

Please do not loiter in areas that are not exclusive to the event. This includes the ground floor, the simulator area on the 2nd floor, the café’s or the AMG performance center. Quiet areas will be provided within the event space. If you need to make a private call, please do so outside, or come and see one of the event Team who will allocate you suitable space.

Anti-social Behaviour Policy

We are a community event, we arrange and organise this event for the enjoyment of technology and learning. Please respect your fellow attendees, sponsors, and event staff. Your behaviour directly effects the Commsverse brand and the sponsors of the event as well as your own.

There is a zero tolerance policy on behaviour that does not meet reasonable standards. Any abuse, complaint, unwanted attention etc. you will be asked to leave the conference and you will not be permitted re-entry for the rest of the event. If your behaviour is so serious, authorities may be contacted and a lifetime ban on all future Commsverse events will be applied.

The event party at the end of Day 1 has been put on for socialising and team building. You will be entitled to a maximum of 2 alcoholic drinks in exchange for tokens provided to you at registration. The exchange / donation of tokens to other is not permitted and anyone found to be giving away or selling their tokens to others and the person attempting to to acquire more than 2 drinks will be banned from the remaining event. We encourage you to have a good time, we do not encourage or tolerate drunken behaviour.

Above all, have a good time and enjoy the event. We hope to never have to enforce this policy.
